Nepali Congress President Girija Prasad Koirala has been discharged from the hospital after his health condition showed signs of improvement on Wednesday. He has been taken to the residence of his daughter Sujata Koirala at Mandikatar. Earlier, doctors attending on Koirala confirmed that his health is getting better. According to them, the oxygen level in his blood has increased. Koirala was rushed to the Sahid Gangalal Heart Centre in Bansbari on Sunday evening after the haemoglobin level in his blood dropped and he complained of difficulty in breathing. A chronic patient of pulmonary diseases, Koirala has been suffering from chest and urinary tract infection recently. He was bedridden for months.
