No JuD, LeT, Taliban commanders in Pak FIA's latest terror 'red book'

In what clearly reflects Pakistan 's so called 'sincere' efforts against extremist outfits flourishing on its soil, a report of wanted militants, which has been prepared by the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), does not include any names of the banned Jamaat-ud-Daawa (JuD) leaders or the Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) commanders. The FIA's 'red book' contains a list of 119 individuals, but amazingly none of the Tehereek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) commanders have been named in the terror list. According to the BBC Urdu, the list was prepared in October 2009 and it mainly includes those involved in attacks on former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto, and former President General Pervez Musharraf and on the Marriott Hotel in Islamabad . The list also includes names of 11 wanted individuals with respect to the Mumbai attacks but there are no details on the bounty in case of their arrests. The list mostly includes individuals working for or with banned but lesser known extremist outfit Lashkar-i-Jhangvi. The list includes the names of 25 wanted individuals from Punjab , 24 from Sindh and 18 from Balochistan, The Dawn reports. Interestingly, the North West Frontier Province (NWFP), which has been hit hardest by extremism, has the least number of wanted individuals (16).
