Following a rise in incidents of infiltration attempts from Pakistan side into India, instances of border fences being cut and intelligence inputs of a possible terror attack on the eve of Republic Day, the authorities have sounded red alert in the Jammu region, said Kuldeep Khuda, Director General of Police, Jammu and Kashmir on Sunday (January 24) Khuda said that these measures have been initiated in the backdrop of increasing infiltration bids by ultras from across Pakistan border, cases of the border fencing being found cut and allied intelligence inputs of a possible terror attack on the eve of India 's Republic Day that is being celebrated on 26 January. DGP Khuda mentioned that apart from vulnerable places in and outside the city of Jammu , special attention is being paid to MA Stadium - the venue of the Republic Day parade. "Whatever inputs we have got, some from media and some from intelligence agencies and that from field staff, we have made the necessary arrangements according to that and they have been implemented as well," said Kuldeep Khuda .
