Aroosa returns to Pakistan, leaves behind Punjab former minister in a soup | Aroosa Raza Alam, a close friend of Punjab's former chief minister and Congress leader Amarinder Singh, on Sunday returned to her home country Pakistan through Wagah land route. Aroosa arrived in India
recently with her friend Najmi Rizvi on New Year eve and other friends. But she
attracted news after she allegedly stayed in a Five Star Hotel of Jaipur with
Punjab 's former minister Rana Gurjit Singh Sodhi. Najmi Rizvi, 54, however, had
left India on January 5 through Wagah land route. Aroosa, who was at Wagah with
one of the close friends of Capt. Amarinder Singh, reached Wagah land border at
11 a.m. and crossed Attari land border 45 minutes later after showing her reservation
to meet media. Senior Punjab Congress leader and Guruharsahai MLA Rana Gurmit
Singh Sodhi attracted a controversy after it came to light that a Pakistani woman
travelling with him stayed illegally in Jaipur. Gurmit Sodhi, a close aide of
Punjab ' former CM Capt. Amarinder Singh, reportedly checked into Jai Mahal hotel
in Jaipur along with a group of four people. He reportedly booked three rooms
in the hotel under his name and claimed that all the guests with him were family
members. Jose Mohan, SP Jaipur (South), said when he checked in, he presented
his identity and described others as his family members. But one of the members
in Sodhi's group, Pakistani national Najmi Rizvi, allegedly did not have a valid
visa for Jaipur. Rizvi's visa from December 24 to March 23 did not include a visit
to Jaipur and Sodhi reportedly deliberately concealed this fact. |
