Karnataka CM Yeddyurappa claims state crisis resolved | Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa today claimed that the political crisis in the State has been resolved. Talking to reporters here before leaving
for Vaishno Devi shrine,Yeddyurappa said the BJP government in Karnataka would
complete its full term. "I am thankful to my party's national leadership for reposing
faith in the leaders and resolving the current crisis. The government will complete
its full term under my leadership in the Stat," he said. "I will take everyone
into confidence in running the government - and together we will work for the
good of the State without giving any chance for unlawful activities in the State,"
he added. Earlier, ruling out possibility of a change in the leadership, the BJP
high command discussed a compromise formula to ensure smooth functioning of the
State government. Amid reports that some of the rebels MLAs are ready to resign
from the membership of the Assembly, party sources said that the rebel group is
being accommodated and the final formula will be in place in a day or two. |
