Girls Aloud confirm comeback with 10-day countdown | | Girls Aloud, who last performed together on stage three years back, has finally confirmed their reunion. The band re-launched their official website and instead of digging up archive footage of bleak performances or pictures of Cheryl Cole, there was a countdown to the days of their comeback. The 10-day timer is counting down to 19th October, fuelling speculation that the girls will appear together
on BBC One’s dance show ‘Strictly Come Dancing’.
The cryptic homepage was followed up with the unveiling of an official Girls Aloud Twitter account, whose only tweet has been an equally mysterious link to the site with a caption ‘TEN’, which has since been re-tweeted by all five band members. Nadine Coyle could hide her excitement about getting back together. “2 hrs in. How are you all feeling now? I have serious excitement that has taken over since last night! Xx,” the Mirror quoted her as tweeting. The girl group are thought to be releasing a Greatest Hits album in
