Lady Gaga's 'five-hour' dinner date with Assange at London 's Ecuador embassy

Pop Star Lady Gaga paid a visit to Wikileaks founder Julian Assange at the Ecuadorian Embassy in London. The singer reportedly spent five hours in Assange's refuge in west London . According to the Daily Mail, she had arrived at 7pm local time and it's believed she had dinner with the 41-year-old Australian activist. Her visit came as nine celebrities who acted as Assange's bail sureties have been ordered to hand over a total of 93,500 pounds. Assange has been holed up Ecuador 's embassy since June 19 after going there to avoid extradition to Sweden , where he is wanted to face questioning over allegations of rape and sexual assault. He fears that if he is extradited to Sweden , he will be sent to the US to face interrogation over the work published by his whistle-blowing website.
