Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitri Rogozin has offered to send an AN-2, an old Soviet biplane that has a notoriously dubious safety record, to US Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney after he joked that ‘the windows don’t open’ on wife Ann’s plane. “No problem! We’ll send our AN-2 to Romney’s campaign headquarters,” ABC News quoted, Rogozin as writing on Facebook. “Not only do the windows not close, but the doors sometimes swing open mid-flight. On the plus side, there’s fresh air to breathe, and you can take in the nature,” he added.
