Indian, Pakistani wrestling contingents meet Advani | | A delegation of Indian and Pakistani wrestlers on Monday met senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader LK Advani here. Wrestlers presented Advani a mace. Addressing the sportsmen , Advani said that both the nations need to focus on sports so that they can bring laurels for their countries. He also expressed gratitude for felicitation by Pakistani wrestlers. “I am very glad and would like to congratulate all of you. I would say that when you return to Pakistan you must share your experience in India with your people,” Advani said. Indian wrestling contingent was represented by London Olympic medallists Sushil Kumar and Yogeshwar Dutt. Pakistani wrestlers were on a visit to New Delhi for Indo-Pak wrestling event-Bawana Dangal- that concluded two days ago. Pakistani squad consisted of Commonwealth Games bronze medallist Umar Bhatt, Salman, Mohammad Ali and Zahid Bhatt. |
