Anna to form new team, continue fight against corruption | Social activist Anna Hazare will continue his fight against corruption through his previous organization Bhrashtachar Virodhi Jan Aandolan.
Sources from Ralegan Siddhi said that after dissolving Team Anna, which had members from
India Against Corruption (IAC), Hazare wanted a new set of people to continue his
non-political movement. However, his former team members are now trying to become an
alternative political force.
Ralegan Siddhi sources said, Anna has received thousands of letters from volunteers who
want to be associated with him to participate in his non-political movement.
Sources also said that some volunteers across the country who were previously associated
with IAC and participated in previous movements are now distances themselves from former
team Anna.
These volunteers wanted to be remain non political and to work for non political forum. Some
volunteers also says that the decision of forming a political force was not taken by the IAC
with their concent.
However, those volunteers have now written to Hazare to form a new team which will be
completely non-political.
Anna Hazare close aide Suresh Pathare told ANI:" We have our organization in Maharashtra
named Bhrashtachar Virodhi Jan Andolan, Anna wants to make a volunteer level structure in
it.""
The previous Team Anna included Arvind Kejriwal, Manish Sisodia and Kiran Bedi as part of
it. Many Team Anna members had alleged these members for dominating the entire team.
This new step by Anna will raise the question of whether Anna still remains associated with his
former aides?
Or, is it a buzzing alarm for former Team Anna members?
