According to the Daily Times, Zardari's spokesperson said that the committee consisted of Senator Hari Ram, MNA Lal Chand and Law Minister Maula Bukhsh Chandio. In a statement, President Zardari reiterated commitment of the government to protect the rights of the minorities in Pakistan and "to draw them fully in the mainstream of national life."
