Caroline Kennedy, daughter of the late President John Kennedy, has praised Obama for keeping a balance between fatherhood and the presidency. Kennedy said she has seen Obama as a dad in the White House and that’s one of the things about him she admires so much. Kennedy lent her name to an Obama campaign email sent out Sunday, recounting her own days growing up in the White House. “To me, my dad was just that: a dad. I remember the bedtime stories -- he’d let me pick the subject (usually ponies), then make up a story on the spot,” the Politico quoted Kennedy as writing. “‘It wasn’t until I got a lot older that I really understood what it meant that my father was the president. And it wasn’t until I became a parent myself that I understood just how much he loved my brother and me,” she wrote. Kennedy was one of Obama’s earliest high profile supporters, endorsing him in January 2008 in a New York Times op-ed.
