Jagan has violated Congress discipline through Sakshi TV slip: Jaipal Reddy | Union Urban Development Minister S Jaipal Reddy on Saturday said that Kadappa Member of Parliament Y S Jaganmohan Reddy has violated the party's discipline by criticizing Congress president Sonia Gandhi and Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on his Sakshi television channel. He said that the party leadership is pondering
over the case. Speaking to reporters, Jaipal Reddy said: "Jaganmohan Reddy has
violated the party discipline and everyone knows that Sakshi TV is owned by him
for his own political motives. This behaviour on his part is undesirable and the
party High Command is looking into this matter and will take action in due course
of time" Jagan's Sakshi TV has also been accused of targeting Congress General
Secretary Rahul Gandhi. The channel stated, "The 125 year old Congress party has
suffered a huge loss in Bihar. It got only four seats. It shows that Rahul Gandhi's
magic is not working. The party has lost local elections in several states." "Andhra
Pradesh is the only state where the Congress is strong. But of late even here
the party is suffering. Every change is being questioned. The Chief Minister in
Andhra Pradesh has been changed but it remains to be seen what Kiran Kumar can
do," the TV report added. Earlier, Sakshi, the 24-hour Telugu news channel owned
by the 38-year-old son of late chief minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy, had launched
a frontal attack on Sonia Gandhi and the organisation in a one-hour programme.
Prime Minister Manmohan Singh was also targeted along with the "coterie around
Sonia" for the "sorry state of affairs in Congress."
