Punjab police arrests four Sikh militants | Police in Punjab arrested four Sikh militants, belonging to the banned Babbar Khalsa International extremist group and recovered arms and explosives from them in the state's Ludhiana District. Harminder Singh, Jaswinder Singh, Gurujant Singh
and Manjinder Singh were nabbed early on the Sunday. "All these persons are key
members of the Babbar Khalsa International, terrorist organisation. They have
been involved in many terrorist activities in Punjab and other surrounding areas
for some time," said S S Mann, Senior Superintendent of Police, Ludhiana. A high
intensity RDX explosive and a Russian Kalashnikov (AK-47) rifle were among the
weapons seized from the militants. Harminder Singh carried a reward of 500,000
rupees and was the mastermind in the 2007 Ludhiana cinema blast case in which
six persons were killed. Harminder fled to Pakistan after the blast and was trying
