Holding Indo-Pak talks is a Black Day in Indian history: Gadkari | BJP President Nitin Gadkari on Thursday criticized Indian government's move to hold foreign secretary-level talks with Pakistan, and termed it as a 'Black Day' in Indian history. Addressing a public rally at the Parade Ground here, Gadkari,
who was on a maiden visit to the city of temples, said: "Who (Pakistan) are unable
to take stern action against the terrorists, the country where terrorists move
freely and they are supporting them. The Government, which allows using their
land for terror outfits, with Pakistan Government our Indian Government is holding
talks today. This is the black day in the history of our country." He also criticised
a proposed government move to grant amnesty to Kashmiri youth who have crossed
over to Pakistan-occupied Kashmir and vowed to fight this move tooth and nail
in Parliament. "No one can dare to bring any Pakistani to Jammu and Kashmir, as
will fight and oppose this move with full force in Parliament. And, we will tell
Manmohan Singhji and Sonia Gandhi... `if you try to do this, we won't let your
government run in India', this better you remember. Who killed hundreds of people
and are guilty of other heinous crimes... they are being brought back. What is
this and what does the Chief Minister (Omar Abdullah) want to prove," Gadkari
asked. |
