10 Railways Stations to be converted into world class stations | Minister for Railways Mamata Banerjee on Wednesday announced that her Ministry has identified 10 more railway stations to be converted to world class stations. The stations are Ambala Cantt., Bholpur,
Ernakulum, Gorakhpur, Jammu, Jhansi, Kharagpur, Kota, Surat and Thane. Keeping
in view the continued focus to enhance passenger comforts, facilities, ambience
and aesthetics Ms. Banerjee said the following 94 stations have been further declared
as Adarsh Stations (model stations): The list includes: Alappuzha, Aluabari Road,
Ambalapuzha, Andal, Angul, Ausgram, Badarpur Junction, Bagalkot, Bally, Ballyghat,
Basti, Belpahar, Bethuadahari, Bhadreswar, Bhatar, Birshibpur, Bobbili, Chakda,
Chandauli, Chandrakona Rd., Changanacheri, Changrabandha, Chas Road, Cherthala,
Chhapra Jn., Chhatna, Chikballapur, Radhamohanpur (Debra), Dahod, Dantan, Debagram,
Devanahalli, Dhanuvachapuram, Dinhata, Dodballapur, Doikallu, Domohani, Fuleswar,
Galsi, Garbeta, Gauribidanur, Ghatera, Gokak Road, Gourinathdam, Gudur, Haldibari,
