Pune blast: Bomb disposal squad arrives at blast venue - India News and Travel Times Provides India-centric and other News and Features

In the latest development of blast occurred at a bakery here, in which over seven people have been died, a bomb disposal squad has reached the place of incident to investigate any suspicious object found there. The bomb disposal squad has arrived with sniffer dogs. Earlier reports suggested it could be a cylinder blast. But till investigations by police and the bomb disposal team are over, the reason for blast is yet to be confirmed by officials. Meanwhile, police, and fire brigade teams have already reached the place of incident. Rescue and relief operations are on with the help of police and fire brigade persons. Besides the dead, 32 persons have been injured, including many foreigners. The blast incident has occurred at the German Bakery Koregaon Park . It is located near Osho Ashram which is visited by a lot of foreign nationals. The injured, meanwhile, have been rushed to the nearby Sassoon Hospital . The number of the injured is expected to rise.
