Union Sports Minister M S Gill on Monday termed the Ferozeshah Kotla pitch fiasco as a great embarrassment and said the Cricket Board and the DDCA owe an explanation to the country. Gill's comment came a day after the a match between Indian and Sri Lanka was abandoned due to a dangerous track. Speaking to the media, Gill said : "It is very unfortunate and a great embarrassment for the country. It should not have happened.
