The meet lasted about half an hour. Three metropolitan cities Delhi, Mumbai, and
Kolkata and Gujarat state were put on high terror alert earlier on Monday following
the intelligence inputs about Fidayeen (suicide) squads having already sneaked
into these places with the aim to attack important installations. It is learnt
that the Bhaba Atomic Research Centre (BARC) and Bombay Stock Exchange, both in
Mumbai as well as US Consulate in Kolkata are high on the radar of the 'fidayeens',
a source stated. Besides, RSS headquarters in Nagpur, Kolkata Port and some
unidentified
defence establishments are also the likely targets of the terrorists, the source
informed. |
