Parleys continue over separate Telangana state in Andhra Pradesh | Famed star of Telugu cinema and chief of Praja Rajyam Party (PRP) Chiranjeevi on Sunday met Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister K Rosaiah in view of the on-going agitation over the separate Telangana state. Chiranjeevi asked Rosaiah to take
adequate steps for the maintenance of law and order in the state. “Now, everywhere,
now you could see the law and order and peace is our of hands. So, just too restore it,
the Government has to initiate and take precaution action. Further they have to sit for
discussions and have to come to a conclusion to make peace,” Chiranjeevi said. "Just
because of pressure which they have been getting from their respected constituencies they
are forced
to do that. So for that responsibility is on state and Central Government," he
added. Chiranjeevi also informed that 11 of his 18 party legislators had submitted
their resignation on the issue. He also added that sentiments of all regions are
important for him and thus he would not resign from his post. |
