Palin's popularity has risen: Poll | The popularity of former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin is growing, with an increased 46 percent Americans viewing her favourably against this summer's 36 percent, according to a CNN/Opinion Research Corporation. The former GOP vice presidential candidate remains a polarizing
figure since 46 percent view her unfavourably, matching her favourable rating,
the CBS reports. Only 8 percent of those voted did not have an opinion on Palin,
who is currently on a book tour for memoir "Going Rogue: An American Life." According
to the poll, eight in 10 Republicans view Palin favourably, while more than seven
in 10 Democrats views her unfavourably. Men are more likely to view Palin favourably
than women. The poll also found that former Vice President Dick Cheney, a frequent
critic of President Obama, remains unpopular. Cheney's unfavourable rating sits
at 53 percent, while 39 percent view him favourably. |
