Karnataka BJP stalemate continues, as Reddy meets senior party leaders in Delhi | Karnataka’s Tourism Minister and BJP leader G Janardhana
Reddy on Monday expressed hope that that the party's central leadership will heed to his demand for a new leadership in the State. Janardhana Reddy said this after
his meeting with senior BJP leaders Arun Jaitley and Anant Kumar in the national
capital on Monday. Reddy apprised reporters about his meeting with senior party
leaders in the capital. “There have been very long discussions with our honourable
Arun Jaitley sir along with Mr. Anant Kumar . In detail I have explained them.
So, I have 100 percent hope, means that I am with full hope they will provide
a very good leadership in interest of Karnataka state,” said Janardhan Reddy,
Minister of Tourism, Karnataka. Meanwhile, commenting on his discussions with
G Janardhan Reddy, senior leader of BJP, Arun Jaitley said that party's central
leadership would find a solution for the issue. "We have heard him with all seriousness.
The central leadership of the party will hold discussions in this regard keeping
in consideration views of all the persons involved. We are hopeful that we will
be able to find a solution for this issue," said Arun Jaitley , senior leader
of BJP. Jaitley visited Karnataka last week to diffuse the standoff between Yeddyurappa
and party's three influential leaders in the state. The ongoing crisis in Karnataka
BJP unit precipitated as a section of the Cabinet led by Janardhana Reddy and
Revenue Minister G. Karunakara Reddy questioned the leadership of Chief Minster
BS Yeddyurappa . On Sunday, emissaries of Karanataka Chief Minister B. S. Yeddyurappa met the BJP leadership including senior leaders Lal Krishna Advani, Sushma Swaraj and Arun Jaitley in the national capital as the BJP's top leadership stepped in
to defuse the crisis in Karnataka. |
