Haryana Janhit Congress keen to participate in new state Govt |
Haryana Janhit Congress
(HJC) supremo Kuldeep Bishnoi has confirmed that his party will participate in
the formation of the new government of Haryana. Talking to reporters here on Friday,
Bishnoi said: "In the first meeting of the Haryana Janhit Congress that was held,
all the legislators decided that we will extend support and will not sit in the
opposition because people had a hope that we will work for them if we come to
power. "The legislators have authorised me to take a decision on whom to support.
We are getting calls from both INLD and the Congress for talks. We will take a
decision by keeping in mind the welfare of Haryana," he added. The Congress Party
became the single largest Party with 40 seats while the Indian National Lok Dal
bagged 32 seats. Both parties needed support of Independents or smaller players
like the HJC, which won six seats to form a stable government. |
