Indian cricket team on Friday sweat it out at the nets here, ahead of the first
of the seven match One-Day International (ODI) series against Australia. Ace
batsmen Sachin Tendulkar and Virender Sehwag were seen practicing hard as Ishant
Sharma , Praveen Kumar and Harbhajan Singh bowled to them. India have been strengthened
by the return of the explosive batting pair of Virender Sehwag and Yuvraj Singh
from injuries. Australia , on the other hand, are hoping to carry the momentum
from this month's Champions Trophy success into the seven-match one-day series
in India , starting on Sunday. The venues of the other matches are Nagpur (October
28), New Delhi (October 31), Mohali (November 2), Hyderabad (November 5), Guwahati
(November 8) and Mumbai (November 11). |
