Uddhav Thackeray threat to Jairam Ramesh for remarks on temples

Shiv Sena Executive President Uddhav Thackeray on Monday hit out at Union Rural Development Minister Jairam Ramesh for his remark that toilets are more important that the temples in our country. Addressing a gathering of Shiv Sena supporters here, Thackeray said: "Definitely it is right to say that the country needs more toilets, but he is comparing temples with toilets. All the Hindus must take an oath that wherever they see this Congress leader, the Sena supporters must hurl shoes at him." The Rural Development Minister's comment has also not gone well with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), which has termed the remark to be illogical.
