Hamilton unfazed by Schumacher’s decision to retire from F1 | McLaren ace driver Lewis Hamilton has said that he does not feel guilty about forcing legendary Formula 1 driver Michael Schumacher to his second retirement. When asked
for his take on Schumacher’s decision to retire at the season end, Hamilton said: “I don’t have a reaction.” According to the Sun, the 27-year-old British driver’s
decision to quit McLaren and join Mercedes had forced the seven-time world champion to bid adieu to the sport for a second time in his Formula One career. The 43-year-old
veteran had wanted to stay with the Brackley-based team but the opportunity to sign Hamilton was too good for Mercedes to turn down, paper added. Schumacher had announced his decision to retire from Formula One on Thursday. Schumacher
has finished on the podium only once since he came out of retirement in 2010 and that came in Valencia this year when Hamilton crashed out. |
