Tribal leaders attack Pak Govt over US drone strikes

Criticizing the government for failing to stop drone attacks by the US and ending military operations in the Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA), tribal leaders of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) have demanded of the government to show a firm stance against the deadly strikes.

The leaders also urged the security forces to end the assault in tribal region and follow the way of dialogues and negotiations for the establishment of sustainable peace in the region, reports The Nation. PTI leader from Khyber Agency Iqbal Afridi said sincere leadership was required to address the tribal issue, as the present government did nothing to resolve issues confronting the tribesmen.
