Tiger Woods couldn't sleep following Europe's dramatic Ryder Cup win | Team USA captain Davis Love has revealed world number two Tiger Woods went through sleepless night after losing the Ryder Cup to Team Europe in a dramatic fashion on Sunday wondering just how a 10-6 lead could have been squandered. Woods earned just half a point from his four matches at Medinah, which is a career low in a contest in which he has tasted victory just once in seven appearances.
"Tiger did not sleep a wink," the Daily Express quoted Love, as saying. "It has been tough for all of us. I'm going to Las Vegas to play this week and I'm trying to find a bag without USA written on it!" he added. The Americans were left powerless to stop the European surge in Chicago in the final day's singles after Woods was sent out last the cup had already been retained by the time he completed the 18th against Francesco Molinari. |
