win is to have his mouth wired shut,” a pained Republican strategist suggested.
According to the New York Daily News, Republicans are Romney’s bigger problem,
and not his opposition, with one campaign veteran calling for ‘adult supervision’
for Romney to win the race. “One more week of being stuck on defense, explaining
himself and giving Obama a pass on a horrible economy,” another GOP official complained
after Romney’s comments. “Too many gaffes, too much disarray, not enough A-listers
around him. It catches up with you,” the official added. |
