Pakistan on Monday successfully test-fired a cruise missile capable of carrying a nuclear warhead. A military statement said, the Hatf-VII or Babur missile, which has a range of 700 kilometres (435 miles), was test-fired from a specially equipped vehicle in an undisclosed location. The statement said the missile has stealth features and can fly very close to the ground, reports The Dawn. Senior army officials and scientists attended the test launch. Pakistan and its nuclear-armed rival neighbour India routinely test different versions of their missiles.
