Two women Maoists have been arrested from Jharkhand's Latehar district. Superintendent of Police-Latehar, Kranthi Kumar Gadidesi, informed media on Thursday that both women were planning an attack on security officials. "We have arrested two woman cadres of Maoists during checking. One was identified as Sumanti Devi alias Suganthi Devi and was the commander of women's wing of the Maoists, and the other was Nandini alias Sunita, and was a member of the group. They have been active members of CPI (M)," said Gadidesi. Gadidesi further said that both were involved in influencing other women of the area to join their group with an aim to strengthen their fight against the government. "We have recovered country made guns, which were fully loaded along with some Maoist books," said Gadidesi.
