Pakistan Interior Minister Rehman Malik has said relations between Pakistan and India are improving according to the wishes of the peoples of both the countries. Pakistan would be strongly resisting any movement of terrorists between the two neighbours, he added. Malik said that on the occasion of the Indian foreign minister's visit to Pakistan , important and practical decisions are expected to be taken to liberalise the issuance of visas at the people's level, reports The Express Tribune. Malik said Pakistan would welcome the opening of Indian visa office at its Consulate in Karachi . The government is aware that those intending to visit from Karachi have to face many problems including extra expenses as they get visa from the Indian High Commission in Islamabad . The issue of visas between Pakistan and India would be resolved soon, he hoped. Malik said he would soon visit New Delhi on the invitation of Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.
