Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) chief Nawaz Sharif has said the country is on the brink of destruction and called for a concerted struggle to free it from corrupt rulers and problems. Sharif said that the PML-N believed in the 'politics of principles and honesty', and would not allow the nation's current rulers to damage the Constitution, democracy and judiciary, and added that he and his party would stand like a solid rock against such conspiracies. According to the Daily Times, Sharif made the comment while addressing a meeting, that was attended by Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif, the leader of opposition in the National Assembly Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan and others leaders.
