Former Pakistani leader Pervez Musharraf has said that his life in exile was pretty great, as he travelled around the world and gave speeches to enthusiastic audiences, but added that he would nevertheless risk his life to return to his home country out of a sense of duty. "I'm quite comfortable out living in London and Dubai and being called up by lecture circuits around the world," Musharraf said during an interview conducted by Atlantic Media Company owner David Bradley. "But I must go back to at least try to recover from this malaise that it is suffering from... I will go back even to the peril of my life," The Foreign Policy Magazine quoted him, as saying. Musharraf, who lives in London , brought his wife to Aspen , along with their son, their daughter-in-law, and their two grandchildren. According to the report, Musharraf stressed that he will return to Pakistan to help save the failing state. He even compared his 2001 military coup to the actions of Abraham Lincoln during the Civil War.
