Bulandshahr court summons Arvind Kejriwal over derogatory remarks | A local court here summoned key Team Anna member Arvind Kejriwal recently for passing derogatory remarks against lawmakers. Petitioner Jitender
Singh's lawyer Manoj Kumar Singh told reporters on Thursday that Kejriwal would
have to be present before the court on July 26. “District court Bulandshahr agreed
to our arguments and issued a notice to the opposite party, according to which,
Arvind Kejriwal has to appear before court on July 26, 2012,” Singh said. Earlier,
Kejriwal, while addressing a public rally on February 25 in Greater Noida, had
said that 163 lawmakers in the Indian parliament are rapists, murderers and goons.
Jitender Singh said that strict action should be taken against him, so that nobody
could repeat the act. “A notice has been issued to him to appear before court
on July 26, 2012. We want justice and we should get it because he has made irresponsible remarks. No person is bigger than the country,” Singh said.
