US Defence Secretary meets Manmohan Singh in Delhi | | US Defence Secretary Leon Panetta, who is presently
on a two-day visit to India as part of his week-long Asia tour to explain a new
US military strategy to allies and partners in the region, met Prime Minister
Dr. Manmohan Singh here on Tuesday to further deepen defence ties with New Delhi.
Panetta is expected to discuss the ongoing defence co-operation and regional security
situation during his discussion with Defence Minister A.K. Antony. Antony will
also host a dinner in honour of the visiting dignitary. Panetta will also hold
discussions with the National Security Advisor Shiv Shankar Menon.
