Italian sailors to be shifted to Kochi ’s Borstal school | | Authorities in Kerala have decided to
move the two jailed Italian marines charged with the murder of Keralite fishermen,
to the Borstal in Kochi . Earlier, the two marines were moved out of Thiruvanathapuram
prison. Latore Massimilliano and Salvatore Girone were first produced before a
court in Kollam district and then sent to the Borstal School after the hearing
on Friday. The shifting was in tune with guidelines of Geneva Convention for treating
soldiers accused in such cases.
