Russia asks Pakistan to stop infiltration of terrorists to India

     Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that compromise is inadmissible when it comes to deal with terrorism. He also said Russia along with International community will back up Pakistan to deal with eradication of the hotbed of terrorism in the country and the neighboring countries and will absolutely support to stop infiltration of terrorism from Pakistan to neighboring countries. Russian Foreign Minister also said that relations between Delhi and Islamabad should gradually settle down and we are going to back this process in the framework of different platforms like SCO . " Delhi and Islamabad are both observers in this organisation and I think this will be conducive for settlement", said Levrov. Russia also supported India 's intention to become full-fledged member of the SCO and its desire to be the permanent member of UNSC. Russian Foreign Minister is here on the invitation of External Affairs Minister S.M. Krishna. Levrov also called on Prime Minister Manmohan Singh. Levrov's visit mainly focused on the preparation of President Medvedev's forthcoming visit to India , which takes place on December 21st and 22nd. India and Russia also signed an agreement on protocol for consultation between ministry of foreign affairs India and foreign office of Russia . Krishna and Levrov last met on the sidelines of RIC , which took place in China 's Wuhan province earlier this month. Deputy Prime Minister of Russia also visited India recently. Both India and Russia are hoping to implement host of agreements in sectors like defence, energy, high technology and the space during Medvedev's visit.
