Brit-Indian shopkeeper's murder watched by teenage daughter on CCTV | The teenage daughter of a Brit-Indian shopkeeper, who was stabbed to death during a suspected robbery, watched in horror as the attack was shown on CCTV in the family’s flat upstairs. According to the Telegraph, the unnamed
48-year-old
shopkeeper was pronounced dead at his convenience store in Birmingham on
Saturday
night after being found with stab wounds following the attack. Police had arrested
a man and a woman, both in their 20s, yesterday morning on suspicion of his murder.
The paper quoted Abid Hussain, owner of a takeaway store on the same street, as
saying that the shopkeeper’s daughter informed police after witnessing the horrible
sight on CCTV camera. "I spoke to a relative of his wife outside the shop this
morning and he told me the daughter was watching the CCTV upstairs and she saw
it all happening. I heard she was the one who called police. I can't imagine how
she must feel, and his sons," he added. Hussain also claimed he had been told
by police that the victim was stabbed three times and died instantly. Police said
four men were seen running from the select convenience Store, also known as
Haresh's
Superstore, on College Road in the direction of Dovedale Road following the attack,
the paper said.
