Women's derrieres have evolved from pear bums to tomatoes

A new study has claimed that women have created a whole new bum shape, the tomato, which is a lot juicier and plumper than the old pear-shaped bum. According to David Holmes, of Manchester Metropolitan University , the tomato bum is a less spherical evolution of the more traditional peach bum, and is "plumper, rounder and squishier to the touch." Tomato-bum owners include Christina Hendricks, J.Lo, Shakira, Kim Kardashian, and of course Beyonce each of whom have not only perfected and embraced their expansive and sexy derrieres, but also actively utilised them as a fashion accessory. The tomato bum coincides perfectly with the current curvy body movement, and manufacturers are now creating dresses and underwear to suit these specific new bum types, one of whom paid for the "Tomato Research." The reason, however, for the tomato is that women are storing more fat on our behind because they eat more rubbish than we used to. Exercise Physiologist and Nutritionist Kathleen Alleaume puts the new, less lithe body shape down to "too much food, and the wrong kinds of foods. "Whether it's out of convenience, laziness or a lack of education, modern women are making food choices that are explicitly unhealthy or, even worse, appear to be low-fat or healthy but, being so highly processed with little nutritional value, are incredibly difficult for the body to break down," the Courier Mail quoted her as saying. Alleaume said get used to it, because fat cells are hard to move once they've settled in. She also warned that while it might be popular and fashionable to show off your luscious big booty, from a health perspective it's not really something to be proud of. "The tomato bottom can be genetic, but a lot of the time it, and the potato bum, are nothing more than overworked and badly distributed fat cells under intense pressure," she said.
