Julia Roberts shoots for 'Eat Pray, Love' near New Delhi | Hollywood actor Julia Roberts shot for her forthcoming film 'Eat Pray, Love' in Gurgaon, on the outskirts of New Delhi on Sunday. The film shoot is taking place
at a hermitage near Gurgaon on the Delhi-Jaipur National Highway 8, while some
scenes will be filmed at Pataudi Palace, about 60 kilometers from Delhi, where
she is staying. Several local villagers were also called in to act in the movie.
But these villagers did not have any idea about the movie nor Julia Roberts. "We
are coming for the first time and we don't have any idea of it...we are six people
and we bring our goats, hen with us," said Jugni, a local. Robert, whose production
company Red Om recently signed a production deal with India's Reliance Big Entertainment, will stay in the country till the first week of October. Directed by Ryan Murphy, the film is based on the international bestseller memoir of the same name. The
film explores a divorced woman's journey in search of restoration of her body
and soul -- and her quest for love. The 42-year-old actress was last seen shooting
in Italy for the film, which is expected to hit theatres in 2011. |
