health care requests. "I have a daughter who is 15 years old. Her name is Pallavi
Mishra. For the past two years she is suffering from headaches. We took her to
many local doctors but everything in vain," said Dinesh Kumar Mishra, one of the
locals, who wanted to meet Rahul Gandhi. "We finally came to meet Rahul Gandhi,
and he has given his full support for her treatment," he added. "I want to meet
him ask him for financial support. Previously, we could not meet him and ask for
financial support. I called and asked for employment but it's been one-and-a-half
months and there is no reply," said Anju, another local. Over 1,500 to 2,000 people
approached Gandhi with their problems at the event, and requested for help with
regard to the civic problems pertaining to bad roads, erratic power supply, and
inadequate provisions of health facilities in villages. Gandhi gave a patient
hearing to the villagers and assured them that necessary action would be taken
to sort out their problems. During the three-day tour, Rahul Gandhi met the Congress
