Clinton cried while Hillary floated on cloud at Chelsea's emotional wedding

Former US President Bill Clinton was left teary whereas Secretary of State Hillary Clinton was 'floating on a cloud' when their only daughter tied the knot with her long time beau Marc Mezvinsky in a grand ceremony. Chelsea Clinton, daughter of the ex-President and Secretary of State got married to Marc on the sun-splashed banks of the Hudson River in Rhinebeck. When the former President took his daughter's hand on the dance floor, he transformed from the paradigm of presidential poise to plain ol' blubbering Bubba. "Bill's chin began quivering and he tried to fake a smile as a tear came down his cheek," the New York Daily News quoted a guest as saying. "He whispered something into Chelsea 's ear, and she wiped the tear off his face. It was so touching. There wasn't a dry eye in the house," added the guest. The made-for-the-movies moment came after the 63-year-old father wowed the crowd with his own emotional speech lauding his 30-year-old only child and welcoming his new son-in-law to the family. "Bill's toast was vintage Bill Clinton. "He spoke quite elegantly about what it was like to welcome Marc into the family," said a guest. "It hit all the right marks. It was perfect," another guest agreed. However, the mother of the bride, Secretary of State Clinton, looked like she was floating on a cloud, dressed in an Oscar de la Renta. "Hillary was always laughing," a guest said. "I've never seen her look more beautiful or more relaxed. She looked like the proudest of parents," guest added. Following the sunset ceremony, Bill and Hillary Clinton released a series of pictures and an effusive statement describing the event. "We could not have asked for a more perfect day," the family said.
